Metro Academy of Dance Education
"My daughter has been at this studio for two years after leaving another studio in the area that did not have very good politics and she is looking forward to a third. Denise (the owner and a teacher) has done a wonderful job. I love the small studio setting and the fair pricing. I love that the teachers are all College Graduates that have studied and received degrees in dance. I love that the classes are more than "follow the leader" and that they take the time to educate the students about the history of dance, specific styles and the human body (ie: muscles and bones). The only thing that I don't love is the lack of theater flair at the Spring Recital. But the costumes are affordable, @ $40 per class (they usually base the costumes on the students class apparel and imbellish with a skirt or top). I would like to see a little more on the performance end with spot lights and neat lighting (1 1/2 hours of lights on and lights off can seem longer). "
